I always hoped that I would never have to write about this.

As readers will know, I take photographs for my own pleasure as well as displaying them here, as many of you have stated how much you enjoy seeing them.

By chance today, whilst checking my website stats, I noticed a website which I strongly believe has stolen my header image of Castle Fraser to use on their website. To add insult to injury, they have altered the size of it slightly, and stamped it with their own web address as if they own it.

This has made me very angry indeed, and I have emailed the site to ask them about it. It has also made me reconsider whether it is worth showing my photographs at all, if people out there only want to steal them.

I will let you know if I get a response, though I doubt I will, I refuse to advertise the site’s web address here to get them more hits.

Update: I have had no response to my email, but on rechecking the site 24 hours later, I believe they have removed my image.  So, fingers crossed everyone that they have responded as they should.  Thanks for all your messages about this.  I now have a contingency plan should this ever happen again.

I came across this website by accident today. I don’t quite know how, but I have been added.

It seems the Eleanorblog has been logged and rated by the editor as ‘Good’. Hmmm, I know I shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth, but it does make me feel a little like I’m back at school. I know, post more frequently!
