This is not surprising, as I love Tolkien. Anyone else want to share their results?
Which piece of Classic Literature do you belong in? (pictures!)
Lord of the Rings You belong in Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. You prefer a world of fantasy, where anything is possible. You believe that even the smallest person is capable of defeating evil or their hardships. Nothing, not even the vast armies of Mordor can stand in your way if your heart is set on something.

After I think, about a week of my talking about blogged.com, I have been rated by 4 readers and my rating has gone up to 9.9. So thanks everyone! I am making an effort to add all the blogs I read to my friends and rate them as soon as I can.
For Entrecard, I only decided to join in a few days ago. I’m quite enjoying it so far, and have sold a few adverts to fellow bloggers too. I’m very choosy about who I let advertise on my blog, so be warned if you are intending to ask me for one! Thanks to all of you that have dropped me your business cards so far. I’m trying to visit all of you as soon as I can.
I’d recommend a look at both sites for any of you bloggers out there.
I always hoped that I would never have to write about this.
As readers will know, I take photographs for my own pleasure as well as displaying them here, as many of you have stated how much you enjoy seeing them.
By chance today, whilst checking my website stats, I noticed a website which I strongly believe has stolen my header image of Castle Fraser to use on their website. To add insult to injury, they have altered the size of it slightly, and stamped it with their own web address as if they own it.
This has made me very angry indeed, and I have emailed the site to ask them about it. It has also made me reconsider whether it is worth showing my photographs at all, if people out there only want to steal them.
I will let you know if I get a response, though I doubt I will, I refuse to advertise the site’s web address here to get them more hits.
Update: I have had no response to my email, but on rechecking the site 24 hours later, I believe they have removed my image. So, fingers crossed everyone that they have responded as they should. Thanks for all your messages about this. I now have a contingency plan should this ever happen again.
Hello to all new visitors that have come via Entrecard! (Plus those new visitors that come from other places of course.)
Please feel free to leave a comment here and introduce yourselves if you wish, and do call again.
I heard this joke on the radio yesterday, and thought I’d share it with you (make sure you read it aloud):
Two elderly academics were sitting out on the porch at a nudist colony.
One said to the other: “Have you read Marx?” The other replied: “Yes, it’s these damn wicker chairs!”
I have a total book addiction, and no I’m not sorry about it. Someone just gave me the idea that if I just give up TV, I’ll have even more time for reading. Hmm, sounds good to me!
I bought 3 books by a new author on Sunday, and started to read the first one yesterday. I’m finding it really good so far, and am halfway to being addicted to the author. So it was some kind of strange fate-like force at work today, when I picked up 3 more of her books by chance second hand, 2 of which being the next in sequence in the series that I am reading.
I think someone is trying to tell me something…
I asked Claire at A Little Piece of Me to make a cartoon of me and the castle I work at. (I know, I’m crazy.) In record time it is now finished and presented here for all to see!
As she doesn’t know what I look like, she tried a few different versions. I have to say the one with the handbag is most like me, except I’m not that thin and don’t walk about naked
Let me know your thoughts, as I love it! Don’t forget to pop over and visit Claire’s blog. Tell her I sent you.

At last! After much stress and heartache he arrived safe and sound today.
So, what on earth am I talking about? I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a person selling a photograph of Colonel Frederick Mackenzie Fraser of Castle Fraser. I was very excited as there aren’t many actual photographs on display there, though there are some at the archives.
My problem has been that the photograph was posted to me back in early December, but due to the post office mucking up completely, we thought that it had been lost. Turns out the incompetent fools returned the photograph to the sender without even trying to deliver to me!
So, here he is in all his glory:
I came across this website by accident today. I don’t quite know how, but I have been added.
It seems the Eleanorblog has been logged and rated by the editor as ‘Good’. Hmmm, I know I shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth, but it does make me feel a little like I’m back at school. I know, post more frequently!
You might want to check it out and see if your own blog is listed. I would really like to see my actual readers rate me there. No pressure
Update: I didn’t really expect any reviews yet, so thanks so much to those of you that have reviewed me so far, it’s very kind of you!
