Cool TV – Cold Case

I got into this series quite late, but I do love my murder solvers! This is what it says, a group of detectives who solve murders that have happened some or many years ago that have remained unsolved. Beware though, if you don’t like flashbacks.

My favourite so far was an episode from the 1920s. Roll on the DVD so I can catch up!

Here’s a taster of an episode from the 1960s for you…

I am a fan of Cold Case too. They present a very interesting story line each week, while interweaving and fleshing out the main characters of the cast. In the beginning I was hooked by some of the music that they had accompanying the episodes. The actor Thom Berry has been around for many, many years, and every week that I watch CC I think “I should send him a fan letter” (but never get that done!). I used to watch him many years ago when he was in a soap opera. Most of all, I like that they keep the cast and characters “real”.

It’s really well written and acted. I’m just not a fan letter kind of person! I do like a bit of realism, but not too much of the detectives lives as this can really detract from the story if not done properly.

The last two episodes of Cold Case did not have Will (Thom barry) in them. He is still a member of the cast isn’t he?
