You are an unmarried peasant woman! You do domestic work all day for practically nothing. You live with your immediate family until your guardian decides to marry you off (or if you pay the marriage fee yourself). Essentially you live an insignificant life that no one will know about in the future.
Well, that was a surprise/disappointment! Marry me off, will you? Oh wait, too late. Suckers! You lose and goddamn but I’ll make it a significant life.
