I’m a fan, so I was already interested to hear about this (and I know many of you are searching the web for information), as the series is Canadian it hasn’t been picked up very well in the US, and there is a very strong chance it will be cancelled.
Those of you in the UK who have been watching it on LivingTV may be interested to know that the last episode which was shown on Thursday, was actually the last episode of Season 2. The last episode of Season 1 was ‘Norman’ when he came back from another dimension looking for Vicki and Coreen. First episode of Season 2 was ‘D.O.A’ when Vicki helped a ghost to find his body.
Now, I didn’t know that we were treated to both seasons already. The DVD box set of Blood Ties is out on the 28 January in the UK and includes all 22 episodes, which seems to have just been bundled together as Series 1 here.
It ended on a cliffhanger, and I can’t see evidence of Season 3 yet, so if you really love the show, there are petitions on the web you can sign, so get onto it! Failing that, and it is cancelled (boo!) get out there and read the books!

hi alison. i too cant wait for the second series to get to the uk!! i also agree with you about them not going for a third series. they did the same with the 1st series of moonlight. i dont know whether you like or have seen it but they say no to a 2nd series!! anyway fingers and toes crossed!!
Ok, now im upset i really like that programme and have been trying to find out if there would be another season, but it really looks like there wont be another one coming

there has got to b another series …where r the books..this series is as good if not better than Buffy and Angle and im a great fan of thoses…canada get bur finger out another series please vikkie has to get it together with Henery.. x x
i’ll say an i hate the fact that they cancelled the series kyle schmid makes awlsome henry and his so hot and i so wanted them to get together.

hey guys, so i’m from Canada and the first season just came out on the 2nd of June. I’m still going to have to wait for the second season to get to DvD . Anyone hear anything about that?? The first season had only 13 episodes. Any help would be great!!! Thanks!!

Yes, and no Hannah! Not sure I should reveal what happens here in case it spoils it for other people, but Vicki and Henry do end up very close for a while…

thats is lame! i got into it loads aswell! i will have to result into reading the books lol! i havent looked for it yet but is it just one book? or a few because i dont want to read all the episodes i saw in the season 1-2
There are a few in the original series, and a set with Henry himself as the lead character. I think they only used one of the stories for the series.

Hi Katie, seasons 1 and 2 were shown altogether in the UK and are available on a DVD boxset, so you’ve probably seen them all. The list I put up for Hannah are the books that there series is based on, yes. So, go read them!
Grr.. so all the 22 episode i watch were season 1 and 2 thats abit random, so then is there going to be anymore blood ties cos the last episode i saw was mike and herny lefted vickie so whats going to happen next is that the end or is there goin to be another season. Grr i want to watch what happen next.

It wasn’t popular enough for them to do another season. This is why I suggested you read the books as at least this way you can hear more about the characters…
