A walk up the hill to Easter Aquorthies Stone Circle, on a very hot September day.

what a fine day going up that hill and a great find of that rock. the colors blue and green are cool that makes it perfect to the eyes.

Yes the colors make this shot really crisp it reminds me of Shiprock in New Mexico USA only smooth

Looked like a good day to be walking. I’m wondering why you took this shot of the rock - you probably could have just taken one without the rock. Is there a particular reason?

Lissa, the reason I included the stone is that it is part of an ancient stone circle, as mentioned above.

Very nice pic! Great colours did you sit and have a picnic on it?
