    This week we are actually at an art gallery – Duff House, Banff, Scotland. Formally a private home, hospital, hotel, POW camp and finally a billet for Polish and Norwegian soldiers.

    This was one of the ancestral homes of the Dukes of Fife, notable for marrying into the Royal Family and was sold off in 1906 due to money difficulties. It has had a sad time until 10 years ago when it was fully refurbished as an art gallery.

    Love it! My friend just got back from Scotland and only had about 3000 pics taken of castle after castle. I didn’t mind sifting through them with her though, as it’s always been a dream of mine to go there! great pic for WW!
