It’s certainly cold in the evenings now, especially since we have passed the end of October and are into November. I took this shot just as the Sun was setting over the stone circle below. Yet, still, the Dahlias are blooming, I took the second image on Sunday.

Which Grand Duchess Would YOU Be?
Hi Alison — I sure am glad we scooted back to Texas. We had such a good time in Scotland and Isle of Man this September.
There weren’t any of these terrible looking clouds either.
We stayed four nights at Crieff and five nights at Turnberry. Another two in Glasgow and two in Douglas, IOM.
..
That’s an ominous sky, The Dahlias look great. I daresay the frost will have them soon. Happy WW
Hi Alison, that sky is magnificent! It looks as if someone or something is actually opening it in order to make an appearance. Well done!
The sky is glorious and the dahlias are such a lovely color…
Happy WW!
Beautiful photos… I love the flowers, Dahlia’s or Zinnia’s?
Ours are up to at burntofferings and more at bernies fotoblog.
Happy WW!!
what a beautiful sky–as if the heaven are opening up and smiling!!
What a cool contrast here. One of cold and damp and one of summer beauty. Have a great WW.
Love that sky
very nice pics! I miss taking pictures like that!
What exquisite pictures! Happy and blessed WW!
Nice pairing of the infinite and the small. Great photos. I am in love with pictures of the sun streaming through clouds. Thanks for making my day.
wonderful find for today’s entry!
happy ww!
Hey awesome photos!!! Good WW!
Beautiful photos! I love the macro shot of the flower:) Happy WW!~ Check out mine too!
gorgeous images!
What BEAUTIFUL pictures!!!
The first shot is so atmospheric. I still have summer nasturtiums and geraniums in my garden – the UK’s seasons are so muddled these days. Happy WW!
I admire your ability to take something that should be cold and ominous and still show some beauty within it. Now, go dig up those dahlias before they are frizzed!
Happy WW!
Beautiful pictures. The second makes me miss summer – everything here is on its last legs or already fallen.
Very nice flower……
