Because it kind of looks like a nose? Perhaps I’m missing something. It is a odd shaped tree. Have a great WW.

That is a great tree. I see a bunny rabbit!
I see a smiling face in that big lump! What a great shot.
Wow….this is the type of tree that the longer you look at it, the more you can see.
A very nice photo, and provokes some thought!
Happy WW!
What a great tree trunk!!! Reminds me of some in California that I have seen.
Yup, it’s kinda like the clouds…the longer you look at it the more things you’ll see. I do see a big nose as well.
It’s amazing what we find in nature! Happy and blessed WW!
The right side of the trunk is what my behind looked like when the technician told me to stick out my butt when I was having a mammogram this week. Happy WW my friend!
What a wonderful tree. Very nosey! I love the black poplars on the Chase. They have some wonderful simulacra! Happy WW

That is just neat! Happy WW.
I’m seeing an eye AND a nose.
As Patrick said, “that tree’s got a butt!”
Definitely a uniquely shaped tree trunk, and an excellent choice for Wordless Wednesday.

Looks like a frightened rabbit! With a weird leafy ear ponytail.
I’m liking both Ellen’s and Melissa’s answers best at the moment! Though I can see a bit of an Ent in it now I come to think of it…
